Mastering the Art of Goal Setting | Strategies for Success

How do we spend our Life?

Are you driven by your passion to accomplish what you want to achieve?. I believe you are on the right track in Mastering the Art of Goal Setting, if you do that. The strategies and successes of goal setting are in the Action Plan. They all go together. From Idea to Planning and Implementation. That's how you can really master the art of goal setting.

Every day is an opportunity to do the task. As you wake up each morning, start the day with a daily devotion. Have a little prayer and some song of praise, thanking God for a beautiful day. Before taking that coffee, you can take some time thinking about spending your time and energy doing the activities for the day that will bring you results going towards your goal. You may include what you have done in the previous days and think about the day ahead to be a continuation of what you have accomplished so far.
It would be a good starting point to create a systematic approach to your daily living which is molding you into what you want to become in parallel with what you want to achieve in life.

What are the useful Goal Setting Tools you need?

You can really monitor your progress with a proper tool used in Goal Setting. You need to have this handy tool so you can monitor your progress. Make an assessment and if necessary, revise or update your plans. If you don't have one yet, I suggest that you have one.

Goal Setting Exercise

  • Visualize your Goals - Imagine your desired outcome and visualize your success. Its better to feel the emotions ahead of time and see yourself one year from now or five years from now.

  • Write Down your Goals -  the way ahead is to write your goals on a paper to make them tangible and reinforce your commitment to do them regularly. Be more specific and use positive language.

  • Break it into smaller tasks - Devise the big goals into smaller tasks to make it manageable when you are implementing them. Focus on a one task at a time so that you will not be overwhelmed by it.

  • Set a Defined Action Plan with Timelines -  this will become your roadmap to success. Each step of the way helps you keep on track and ensures daily progress. This will also help you maintain your own accountability for your actions. Remember, you are what you become with the decision you will do now and take the necessary action that will produce result.

Planning with Goal Setting

Planning your goals involves several key steps to ensure your success. These steps are;

  •  Clarify your Goals first - the more specific you are about what you want to achieve, the more clarity you will have. As you write down you goals, set a target date at the top of your list.

  •  Break down into actionable steps - the action plan helps you manage the tasks. Be more relevant and set an achievable tasks.

  •  Create a Timeline - a goal is a dream with a deadline. Becoming real and relevant, you must set a specific time frame to acheve your goals.

For example:

You want to reach a certain time when you need to pay-off you debt. Determine how much you need to pay and how long you can pay it? Setting a certain goal in this instance is to know how much you can achieve to raise the amount you need to meet that goal. Say if you need to pay $5,000 in a period of one year. You need to raise an amount of $417 per month. Do you think this will be a realistic amount based on what your income generating activity? if not, then adjust your goals and your timelines perhaps to two years, three years, depending on what you can raise to achieve that goal.

Goal Setting Questions to Asks

Relevant to your Planning is asking yourself a question or sets of questions to be able to make a clear and well defined goals. As for the example above, questions you can ask are:

  • Is the amount of money you need to raise in one month achievable?

  • Will it be acceptable to increase the number of years you need to pay-off your debt?

  •  What will be your means of generating the income you need to raise?

  •  Do you need to look for an extra source of income if you are currently working and the income you are getting is not enough to raise the amount you need to pay your debt?

The list will go on and on when you are targeting a specific goal and put them into actionable steps that are more realistic so that you will not overwhelm yourself as well as discipline yourself and make extra effort to achieve that goal. This way you are able to maintain a specific step each day and make yourself accountable for your actions. Positive actions will give you positive results. If you are aiming for the result you need to achieve in a particular time, you will become focused and determined to achieve that.

Goal Setting Workshops

The accountability is a good motivation to your actionable steps. This will also help you become proactive to what you want to achieve. But sometimes you need the help of a community to oversee what you want to achieve. It can be a friend, a family member or a colleague.

At Learn and Build Vision community, we are conducting a regular workshop online or offline. This reinforces the accountability to help each other grow and achieve their goals. When you have this type of community, you can share your journey with us. You can also share your difficulties, your challenges and your successes.

Goal Planners are the best tools you can use to set your goals into a cleas and specific goal. A handy tool you can always bring so you can read what you have done and monitor your progress, and write or rewrite your goals to be more relevant and realistic in your daily tasks. Even though we are now in an advance digital technologies, writing down in a piece of notebook helps you enhance your brain and productivity.

Better ot have one and keep it. Set a certain time and day to write what you want to achieve each week for your smaller tasks. How to know What is A Good Goal Setting?

Good Goals are those that provide direction for your life and help you develop your talents, skills and character. It will motivate you to have a positive outlook that will align your good values. This will lead you to positive outcomes and facilitates success.

Bad Goals  are the ones that you don't truly want and carry an emotional baggage. Leads you to unrealistic expectations due to incorrect information or set of unrealistic standards. You can determine bad goals if this will cause you difficulties and introduce complexities.

Remember, Goals should inspire you, align with your aspirations and should contribute to your Growth.

Goal Setting Exercises and Activites

Starting your day and ending your day with your goal in mind. As you start the day, set aside a certain time about 5 to 10 minutes to think of what you need to do that will align to your biggest goal. Preparing your mind, your energy for the daily tasks is the first motivating factor to keep you doing the aciton. Then close the day with looking back to what you have done. A self relfection on what you have done and what you have not done will be able to help you determine what works well and what dit not work. Learning the mistakes of the past actions will help you think of better ways to achieve what you want to achieve in the most practical and realistic way.

Keep these exercises consistent. Develop a habit of doing things repeatedly. At the end of the day, or weeks, even months will definitiely produce a good result on your specific goals.

Find your vision and follow it

Is it too late Finding your vision?

As long as you live, you can always find your vision and follow it. Most of successful people made their success at their retirement age. They bring vision to life when they get older. This is a legacy you can leave behind to your family.

What is your Vision?

First of all, let’s talk about your vision. A vision is what you foresee yourself to be where you are in the future. Some say it’s a dream. As long as it is something you are aiming for, that’s what defines your vision. It can be a state of becoming who you want to be, or what you want to have in the future.
With that being said, you can write your own vision. Regardless of your situation right now, you can still pursue what you are aiming for. The keyword is improvement, upgrade, acquire etc.

How will you follow your vision?

After you have identified your vision, the next step is “how?. This is the action plan. No matter how high your visions are, you can achieve it! But the key player is always YOU.

Set target and aim for it

Just keep in mind what you are aiming for. It may give a greater challenge to you as you are walking through a path of “never been there yet” it is an unfamiliar path but for sure you know its the one you want to take.

Like for example a means to create new income. Having been employed for such a long time, getting paid for the time you spent, you can compare the efforts needed if you are aiming for a much higher income to your current job.

The challenge will be, the time you will spend, the effort you will give and the knowledge you have to make that vision a reality.

Set an action plan

Planning is the key to making your vision to reality. Planning prepares you ahead of time so that you can see the obstacles you might encounter. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Most of all Commit them to God and He will direct your path.

Make some realistic goals and make an action plan each week. Take small steps and make sure you move forward every day. This will bring you to your success.

Set a specific deadline

As you move ahead, be sure to set a specific deadline. You can determine how much time you need to reach your goal. Keep moving and keep monitoring your progress. If the task is too big, you can delegate to other people. This will help you speed up the process.

Celebrate

Each time you accomplish a milestone, don’t forget to celebrate. Thank God for it and give back the Glory to Him.

This is your first formula for success.

Watch out for the second one.

If you have learned something, please share through your comment below. Let’s help build a community of visionaries. Connect with me on my facebook page Learn and Build.

Cheers!

Unvailing the Income Replacement Plan | A Comprehensive Guide to Financial Security

In today's dynamic economic landscape, ensuring financial stability and security for the future has become increasingly crucial. With the uncertainties brought about by job market fluctuations, unexpected expenses, and retirement planning, individuals are seeking comprehensive strategies to safeguard their income streams. Enter the Income Replace Plan (IRP) – a strategic framework designed to provide a safety net and financial resilience for individuals and families alike.

Understanding the Income Replace Plan

The Income Replace Plan (IRP) is a proactive financial strategy crafted to mitigate the risks associated with income loss or reduction. Unlike traditional savings or investment plans, IRP focuses specifically on maintaining or replacing income in case of unforeseen circumstances such as job loss, disability, or retirement.

Key Components of the Income Replace Plan

Income Assessment

The first step in crafting an effective IRP is to assess your current income sources comprehensively. This includes your salary, bonuses, passive income, and any other monetary inflows. Understanding your current income streams lays the groundwork for developing strategies to protect and replace them.

Emergency Fund Establishment

Building a robust emergency fund is the cornerstone of the IRP. Financial experts recommend setting aside three to six months' worth of living expenses in a readily accessible savings account. This fund acts as a buffer during unforeseen financial crises, ensuring the continuity of essential expenses without resorting to debt or liquidating long-term investments.

Insurance Coverage

Adequate insurance coverage forms a critical component of the IRP. This includes health insurance to mitigate medical expenses, disability insurance to replace lost income in case of incapacity, and life insurance to provide financial security for dependents in the event of premature death. Carefully evaluating and securing appropriate insurance policies tailored to your needs is paramount for comprehensive financial protection.

Diversified Income Streams

Relying solely on one income source exposes individuals to heightened risk. Implementing a diversified income strategy, encompassing multiple streams such as rental income, dividends from investments, or freelance work, enhances financial resilience and reduces vulnerability to income disruptions.

Retirement Planning

Planning for retirement is an integral part of the IRP. Contributing to retirement accounts such as 401(k)s, IRAs, or pension plans ensures long-term financial security post-employment. Calculating retirement needs and regularly reviewing investment portfolios are essential for maintaining income replacement during retirement years.

Continuous Review and Adjustment

Financial circumstances evolve, necessitating regular review and adjustment of the IRP. Life events such as marriage, childbirth, career advancements, or economic downturns may warrant modifications to existing strategies to align with changing goals and priorities.

Benefits of Implementing an Income Replace Plan

Financial Security

The IRP provides a sense of security by safeguarding against income loss or reduction due to unforeseen circumstances.

Peace of Mind

Knowing that adequate measures are in place to replace income in times of need alleviates anxiety and enhances overall well-being.

Flexibility

An IRP offers flexibility in adapting to changing financial situations, empowering individuals to navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.

Long-Term Stability

By incorporating retirement planning and diversified income streams, IRP fosters long-term financial stability and independence.

If you are actively working, this guide will help you create an income replacement plan. As most people get their income from employment, it's better to start early to prepare for any changes in the job market. The pandemic has shown us how quickly things can change, leaving many without jobs and struggling to make ends meet. However, it's important to remember that there are always opportunities to create new income streams and take control of your financial future.

I encourage you to look beyond the current challenges and see the possibilities ahead. While it may seem overwhelming at times, investing in an income replacement plan can provide long-term financial stability and peace of mind for you and your family. Please see the revised version below:

How to overcome the fear of rejection | face your fear

Introduction

The Fear of Rejection In general

We face a lot of fears in our lives. We fear something. These fears have their origin. It is a result of bad experiences in the past. Surely it is a very uncomfortable experience, painful and shocking. As the years go by, you keep avoiding things that may be similar incidents and be very very cautious of not going into that kind of situation again. It will affect the way we think and the way we act. It can also be extended to the way we deal with our relationships with friends, families, and other people we meet every day.

The fear of rejection is a common yet formidable obstacle that can hinder personal and professional growth. Whether it stems from past experiences, societal pressures, or innate insecurities, this fear has the potential to paralyze individuals, preventing them from pursuing opportunities and realizing their full potential. However, by understanding its roots and employing effective strategies, it is possible to overcome this fear and embrace a life of empowerment and resilience.

Understanding the Fear of Rejection:

At its core, the fear of rejection is rooted in the instinctual desire for acceptance and belonging. Humans are social beings, wired to seek approval and validation from others. Rejection, whether real or perceived, threatens this fundamental need, triggering feelings of inadequacy, shame, and unworthiness.

Moreover, past experiences of rejection can exacerbate this fear, creating a cycle of avoidance and self-doubt. Whether it's a romantic rejection, a professional setback, or a social snub, these experiences leave emotional scars that can linger long after the initial incident.

Strategies to Overcome the Fear of Rejection:

  1. Cultivate Self-Compassion

  2. Recognize that experiencing rejection is a natural part of life, and it does not diminish your worth as a person. Practice self-compassion by treating yourself with kindness and understanding, especially in moments of vulnerability.

  3. Challenge Negative Beliefs

  4. Identify and challenge negative beliefs about rejection that may be holding you back. Instead of viewing rejection as a reflection of your inherent flaws or shortcomings, reframe it as an opportunity for growth and learning.

  5. Set Realistic Expectations

  6. Understand that not everyone will share your perspective or appreciate your efforts, and that's okay. Set realistic expectations for yourself and others, and accept that rejection is a normal part of the human experience.

  7. Build Resilience

  8. Cultivate resilience by developing coping mechanisms to navigate setbacks and disappointments. Engage in activities that promote emotional well-being, such as mindfulness meditation, exercise, or creative expression.

  9. Practice Assertiveness

  10. Assertiveness is the antidote to the fear of rejection. By expressing your thoughts, feelings, and needs authentically and respectfully, you empower yourself to advocate for what you want without fear of judgment or rejection.

  11. Celebrate Courageous Action

  12. Acknowledge and celebrate your courage every time you confront the fear of rejection and take action despite it. Whether it's asking for a raise, expressing your feelings to a loved one, or pursuing a new opportunity, every step forward is a triumph of resilience and self-empowerment.

  13. Seek Support

  14. Surround yourself with supportive individuals who uplift and encourage you. Whether it's friends, family, or a therapist, having a strong support system can provide validation and perspective during challenging times.

On The Business Aspect

On the business side, this can also be considered one of the major reasons why people are not going in this direction. They may have found comfort in their day-to-day job and end-of-month salaries. Satisfied, living within their means, and relying on what will come each day.
The majority will really agree, therefore, any people who are doing the business, especially Direct Selling, will experience so much force to not pursue their journey. It is all against the odds, just like going in the opposite direction where the majority of people look for a JOB instead of looking for a Business to start.
As a beginner, this scenario can also cause you to FEAR. The most familiar is the Fear of REJECTION!

How do you face your fear?

If you are new to Direct Selling, you will really face the greatest REJECTION of all. People you are going to deal with are not open to such kind of opportunities and oftentimes you will be regarded as a SCAMMER. Don't let this force control you or stop you. It is the acid test for the business because you are dealing with the MINDSET programmed differently from yours.
Just like dealing with electricity, for example, you cannot mix 110 volts to 220 volts. It will really explode. That is the kind of Rejection you are going to face. But if you learn the business and know how they think, you will understand the reason behind it and know the right candidate to invite and know how you can deal with them. Just like fear, Fear has brought people a lot of defense mechanisms so that when they encounter seemingly similar situations, they can be on guard all the time.

Rejection deals with your emotions. Most people starting with this kind of business who have not learned to face these oftentimes get more likely to quit.

Learning the business means you have to understand the ABC basics. New Distributors are advised to attend the training in NDO (New Distributors Orientation). So that they will know the deepest purpose of why you are doing the business. This is a completely different kind of business that will have to face the most difficult tasks because you are going to go against the odds.

People are usually overwhelmed by the Marketing Plan and are looking ahead of time for Success. Realizing that this is a real business. We need real work which may require hard work and smart work. Like any other business, it does not come overnight. The road ahead will be long. Keeping yourself focused on the deepest and most compelling reason why we are doing the business will help us reach the end of the tunnel.

Every successful ending has a painful Story. Let those painful stories serve as an inspiration and the Successes be the motivation for those who are getting started. You are not alone in this venture. You have those successful people looking at you and giving their helping hand because they know what it is that we are going through, They have found the right formula for Success. Which, they want you to know and understand, that is, Overcoming your greatest FEAR!

Looking Deeply

Fear is not actually to be feared at all! Fear is developed within us because this is a result of our past failures. It deals with our emotions and, oftentimes. dwelling with it may lead us to become passive and conclusive to what is not known. Our past failure becomes our guiding principle to never want to do any venture anymore. When you fail in one company, it does not mean you will fail again in another company. Let those experiences be our guide to be wise with our decision, but don't let it discourage us to not wanting to try again.
When we don't take action, we dwell much on what we feel rather than on what we want to do. Looking deeply, Fear makes us scared of something that is not really known to us because we have not overcome past failures. It really controls the way we think and the way we take action or no action at all.

How do we define FEAR now?

FEAR can be defined as False Emotion Appearing Real. When we think of something that is not happening, and we fear, that is just an emotion. It appears to be real because we have already placed in our thoughts that this is true.
The next time we encounter our fear, two things may lead us.

We may FEAR - Face Everything And Run or
we may FEAR - Face Everything And Rise!

Which one will you choose?

If you want to become successful, starting your journey will give you a lot of learning inspiration from those who have overcome their greatest FEAR. They managed to face their emotions, and are now enjoying the greatest success in their life.
If I were to ask you, which one would you follow?

Conclusion:

Overcoming the fear of rejection is not an overnight process, but with patience, persistence, and self-compassion, it is possible to break free from its grip and embrace a life of courage, authenticity, and fulfillment. By understanding the roots of this fear, challenging negative beliefs, and cultivating resilience, individuals can navigate setbacks with grace and emerge stronger and more empowered than ever before. So take that leap of faith, knowing that rejection is not a reflection of your worth, but rather an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.

Looking for ways to achieve your dreams, you must get inspiration from successful people who have set the rules for success to achieved it. People who has the full authority because they are not just merely talking but has proven results of what they say.
In our business, we keep learning and following from people who are successful. We are getting more relevant information on how they have done it and draw out principles for our own success.

Here, we can get wisdom from one of the most successful person, Arnold Schwarrzenneger, who have set the 5 rules for success in business to give motivation and inspiration to all of us. He is a multi-award achiever in the International film and movie industry, and a very successful in his political career.

Here's what he has to say to all of us.

The 5 Rules for success of Arnold Schwarzenneger:

1. Find Your Vision & Follow It

2. Never ever Think Small

3. Ignore the Naysayers

4. Work your Ass Off

5. Don't just take, Give Back

Here's the Video of his 5 Rules for success and get inspired!

What is your Vision?

This is the first rule for Success - A Vision
A Vision is the faculty of state of being able to see, the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.

This is where it should start! Have a vision and follow it. Doing the business will give us the same result, when you focus on the things that you want to achieve. This is what will make your reason more objective and don't look at the money side but on the way you want to improve your life.

Aim Global gives you the proper tool to achieve those visions, but the most important person is YOU!

Have that target in mind and keep working on it until it becomes part of your life.

Never Think Small

The reason why you are not improving is that you have the so-called "employee mentality". As you enter into Entrepreneurship, your mindset should be change too. Our mental capacity to think of having success is in the way we think of ourselves. Thinking big is thinking ahead. This goes with our ability to work and respond to our situation.

The main reason why we think small is that we have our mentality dictates it. Some want to earn big but their "Mental Wallet" is small. Dream big and Achieve It.

How do you Face Discouragement?

They will always be there, especially when you are starting and struggling to show result. These are the Naysayers according to Arnold. People will always discourage you, often laughed at you and say, you "cannot do that"or "are you out of your mind?". The word here is IGNORE them!

Keep working and do it daily. Improve yourself and get right on your target. What you SOW is what you REAP. You will see the benefit later. Only then people will be humbled by your TRUE SUCCESS.

Discipline yourself and Work Consistently

Discipline is really needed, there is no way but up, but you will also take the step forward. Make sure you are doing things right and do it everyday.

Part of this is your character building. There is no easy way, but you will be rewarded by your diligent work and consistency.

Give Back and Help Others

The best person that can help other people who are struggling are those who have experience being in that situation. Remember where you came from and pull someone up. Helping others is our social and moral responsibility. Give Back and teach others what you have done.

Most of all Give back the Glory to God the Father in Heaven!
